Refund policy

Made-to-Order Items
All our items are made-to-order, crafted specifically for you. Because of this, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.


Defective or Damaged Items
You have the right under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) to return goods that are defective or damaged within 6 months of receipt. Defects may include issues with workmanship, missing parts, or damage during shipping.

Important: Please inspect your item as soon as it arrives and notify us immediately if you notice any defects. This helps us resolve issues quickly.

To report a defective item, email sales@lumberslumber.co.za with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the defect or damage

  • A brief description of the issue

Once your claim is assessed and approved, we will provide instructions for repair, replacement, or refund. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.


Refunds
After inspecting the returned item and confirming the defect, we will process a refund or replacement via your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the payment.

Shipping Costs
If the return is due to defective workmanship or damage during delivery, we will cover the return shipping costs.
